The initial genetics will include about 25,000 seeds the will be used to propagate several test plots on the joint venture farm between Green Leaf Farms and Cannava. This first batch of genetics expect to be shipped within a week, followed by the initial Green leaf farms cultivation team to begin immediately planting the initial plots.
Upon the completion of study and research of how the genetics react to the environment, the joint venture plans to ramp of the cultivation by to a large scale by September. The joint venture expects to create hundreds of jobs through the development of this new industry initially being established to export large amounts of high quality medical full spectrum oils and Isolates around the world to legal markets
Prior to the importation of the seeds the companies had to design and have approval of a rigorous security plan and installation of all security equipment and protocols that we approved by the Argentina national guard, The security protocol includes locking down the entire cultivation area with video surveillance, lighting, communication systems and armed guards.
Mark Bradley CEO of Green Leaf Farms states, it has been a pleasure working with Gaston Morales the CEO of Cannava, we both share the same vision of how the Cannabis industry in Jujuy can be a role model and leader to the direction the world takes as the cannabis evolves to a true commodity.
