Mark Bradley
Mark Bradley founded Players Network in 1993 and has served as its CEO since its inception. Under his direction, Players Network became the first user of a digital broadcast system for television programming, and the first private label Gaming Network.
Bradley has been a producer/director at United Artists, and was studio manager and postproduction supervisor with United Cable Television in Los Angeles, engaged in the production, packaging and syndication of television and film productions for such media venues as HBO, Nickelodeon and MTV. As a producer/director, Bradley created live pay-per-view events, negotiated distribution deals, budgeted and packaged TV programming. Mr. Bradley created the Real Estate Broadcast Network, the first 24-hour real estate channel.
Bradley has been driving force behind the elevation of Players Network from in-room channel to national cable network, taking the company public in 1998, raising the money needed to grow its infrastructure and video library, and overseeing the business growth opportunities of the company.
Michael Berk
Michael Berk is a prolific Writer, Producer and Director with over three hundred hours of television production to his credit. Berk created and Executive produced “Baywatch,” the most popular series in television history, and is currently producing a large-budget “Baywatch” feature film for Paramount. Berk recently wrote the Feature Film “Soul Surfer” for Sony. The movie received and A+ Cinemascore, became the highest grossing surf movie in history, and was the number one selling DVD upon its release.
Berk wrote and produced the first three-hour movie ever made for television which received a Golden Globe Nomination as Best Picture and won two Emmy Awards. Berk also won the Edgar Allan Poe Award for Mystery Writing.
Berk is also a significant figure in Las Vegas. He was a founding Board Member and President of the highly acclaimed “CineVegas” Film Festival, and was recognized with the prestigious Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce Community Achievement Award in the category of Entertainment, and the Nevada Film Office/Las Vegas Film Critics Society “Silver Spike Award” for his contributions to the film industry in Nevada. Berk has been awarded more than a dozen Senatorial, Gubernatorial, and Mayoral Commendations and Proclamations in Nevada and Las Vegas.
Carol Kahn
With over 30 years of experience in the media business, Carol’s career encompasses Television, Radio, Print, and Internet. She has been involved in every aspect of the business including news, public affairs, programming, promotions, sales, management, as well as producing and hosting for television and radio. Carol has written entertainment articles for several print publications and produced several award-winning documentaries. She has interviewed many well-known public figures including Nobel Laureate, Elie Weisel, Maya Angelou, Astronaut Alan Bean, and Fashion Designer Alexander Julian, as well as many celebrities.
Ms. Kahn began her career at WJLA-TV in Washington DC, working in news and was selected to work with Norman Lear on a groundbreaking program. She has worked with numerous television and radio stations in mid size markets including North Carolina, Georgia and Las Vegas. Carol became the first Director of Sales for Beasley Broadcast Group managing over 28 radio stations and training the sales team in new business development. Her knowledge and experience in sales has extended to brand marketing, promotions and events, working with some of the largest brands in the country.
Carol is consistently successful in developing and creating marketing programs that provide return on investment opportunities; create high visibility partnerships through product development, brand positioning and innovative marketing/media solutions utilizing all forms of media.
Leslie Thomas
Leslie Thomas earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2005. After graduating she moved to Las Vegas to become a member of the Players Network team. With her administrative and technical skill, Thomas quickly became acquainted with the company’s internal operations and assumed management of Players Network’s extensive video library and media distribution platforms. Thomas works directly with major media outlets, including: Comcast Communications, DirecTV, AT&T, Verizon, and TivoCast, as well as multiple broadband sites. As the Marketing and Operations Manager, Thomas is integral to the end product and viewer experience, overseeing coordination between post-production, content selection, and distribution priorities.
